SCG as Co-Organiser of Inaugural Vietnam High School Business Competition (VHBC)
After our successful summer networking event, we were able to develop a longer-term relationship with one of our Invited Speakers, Mr. Edward Tran, from Jardine Mantheson and the Trainee Club, which specialises in the development of career-oriented talent programs for youths.
A conversation between our founder, Gia Han, and Edward led to an idea of organising an inaugural Vietnam High School Business Competition for all high-schoolers across the country. The competition is a unique platform for students to develop strong critical thinking, consulting skills and industry-ready skills in entrepreneurship, marketing, finance, operations, etc. by working on real business challenges.
Summed up perfectly on its website, VHBC is:
"A business learning hub for young talents to develop industry-ready skills and prepare a career-orientation journey"
The Student Consulting Group, in particular, is mainly involved in the External Relations process. Led by SCG's Board of Management and Specialist Consultants in our organisation, our team of 20 was able to garner sponsorship from True North School in Hanoi, develop content for trainings, manage logistics for the competition, etc.
Tra-My Nguyen, one of our Board of Managers for SCG, represented the organisation for a press conference on Saturday, October 1st, 2022 (to the far right).
